Overview

HR wanted to improve their onboarding processes. There is so much information new employees need to about working on campus information overload was a really problem. This was on top of all the additional information they were learning in their new positions.

My Role

UX Design Manager | Product Manager

  • Work with stakeholders to establish the goals and specs of the project.
  • Advise the team on UX best practices.
  • Provide feedback on design and content organization
  • Train employees on how maintain and update the website.
  • Provide technical support through development, implementation and launch.

Provide a website to assist new employees understand and navigate the benefits and recourses available to them.

Research

We found grouping items by time would help make things more manageable. We decided these periods before you start: First Day, First Week, & First Month. A section for hiring managers was also added to help them follow what they need to do during those same time periods.
